Obituary for Elizabeth J. McKeaver
Elizabeth J. McKeaver, age 63 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was born December 25, 1940 in Axtell, Texas to Charlie and Ida (Thomas) Jackson.
On January 22, 1993 in Vernon, Texas, Elizabeth and Elisha McKeaver were united in marriage. She was a very active member of St. Johns Baptist Church in Altus. She sang in the church choir, held the position of Treasurer of the Missionary Women. Elizabeth was very devoted to her family and friends, she will be deeply missed by all that loved her.
She is survived by her husband Elisha McKeaver of the home in Altus, Oklahoma; herr Mother, Ida Mae Jackson of Altus and ten children, Harvery Hill and wife Teshawn of Scottsdale, Arizona, Tanisha Massie of Altus, Oklahoma, Shawta McKeaver of Altus, Andra McKeaver of Ft. Stewart, Georgia, Greg McKeaver and his wife Jackie of Virginia Beach, Virginia, David McKeaver and his wife Sharice of Barstow, California, Mack Bussey and his wife Roxanne of San Diego, California, Terry Wilson and his wife Vita of Oxon Hill, Maryland, Jewell Morrow and her husband Wayne of Luxemburg, Germany, Steve McKeaver of Altus, Oklahoma. She is also survived by one sister Ollie Mae Wilson of Seattle, Washington; five brothers, Ralph Jackson and wife Wilma of Altus, Oklahoma, Robert Jackson and wife Gwen of Altus, Oklahoma, Marion Jackson of Altus, Oklahoma, Harry Washington of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Larry Washington of Kentucky; twenty-five grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her father, two sons, one sister, two brothers, one niece and one nephew.
Funeral Services for Elizabeth McKeaver are scheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Robert Bostic and Rev Robert Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
