Elizabeth Ruth Vaughan, age 61, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She was born October 5, 1944, in Baton Rouge, LA and was the daughter of William and Thelma Nelason.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Betty Allen and husband Ricki of Altus, and son, Maynard Tom Roberts Jr. of Altus, three sisters, Rose Askew of Ardmore, Charlene Price of Atchinson, KS, and Ann Kelly of Ruston, LA, two brothers, Bill Nelason of Ardmore, and Freddy Nelason of Vernon, TX; four grandchildren, Travis Schumaker of Amarillo, TX, Jonathon Earley of Vernon, TX, William Roberts and Kevin Roberts, both of Altus.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, William Nelason, Thelmas McKay, step-father, Dexter McKay, brother, Tommy Chestnut, husband Edgar Vaughan, and one granddaughter Tiffany Marie Roberts.
