Ella Urcie Moffeitt, 96, passed away Monday, October 9, 1995, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Ella was born May 18, 1898, and was the daughter of the late J.M. and Pamela (Kensey) Moffeitt. She resided in Altus and Jackson County most of her life.
Ella was a very accomplished seamstress. She did alterations, fur work, and original creations. She was employed at Dunlaps in Altus for many years. Ella was a long time member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, one nephew and one niece.
She is survived by eight nieces and nephews including Jimmie Paxton and Elaine Sibley, both of Abilene, Texas and Mildred Underwood of Mangum,
