Mrs. Ella Winnie Adams, age 83, died Sunday, November 15, 1968 at the Altus House Nursing Home. She was buried in the Altus City Cemetery, Altus, OK.
Mrs. Adams had lived in the Altus area all of her married life. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Adams on October 13, 1945. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was survived by: four daughters, Mrs. Maudie Richardson and Mrs. Ethel Dishman, both of Headrick, OK, Mrs. Lillian Shelton of Lindsey, OK and Mrs. Berta Cassell of Los Angeles, CA; four sons, Orville Adams and Oscar Adams of Headrick, OK, Woodrow Adams of Oklahoma City, OK and Dewayne Adams of Friendship, OK; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Letha Adams of Cache, OK and Mrs. Grace Adams of Snyder, OK; also a number of nieces and nephews.
