ELLEN MAE HARRIS MARKS
Ellen Mae Harris Marks passed from life into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on December 17,2006 at Alliance Hospital in Odessa, TX. She was born on October 25,1913 in Adel, OK to Willie David and Lillie Marsh. Ellen married Henry Harris in Antlers, OK in 1938. They moved with their daughters, Bea and Lillie, to Altus in 1945. Ellen was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. After the death of Henry Harris, she married Ed Marks in Celina, TX. Ellen was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. At the time of her death, she was a member of Sherwood Church of Christ in Odessa, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, four brothers, five sisters, and her grandsons, Mitch Hullum and Jason Sloniger. She is survived by daughters, Bea Hullum and her husband Ronald of Odessa, TX.,Lillie Sloniger and husband Jimmie of Blackwell, TX., four grandchildren, Rhonda Mullins and husband Lanny of Dallas, TX, Monica Granath and Dana Maples of Clearfield, UT., and six great grandchildren, and many friends and relatives.
