Ellis Edmond Ketchersid age 89, of Altus, Oklahoma died November 10, 1982 at his home in Altus, Oklahoma.
Ellis was born October 23, 1893 in Waco, Texas to Chesley Ketchersid. He married Odessa Hukill October 21, 1922 in Gould, Oklahoma. Ellis had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1897. He served during World War l, and was affiliated with the Methodist Church.
Funeral services for Ellis Edmond Ketchersid are scheduled for Saturday, November 13, 1982 at 2:00 pm in the Tims Chapel, officiated by Rev. C. L. Abercrombie and Rev. Hoyett Lemmon. Burial will follow in the Victory, Cemetery under the directions of Tims Funeral Home.
Ellis Ketchersid is survived by his wife, Odessa of the home; four sons, Foy Ray Ketchersid, Security, Colorado; Dewey Dean Ketchersid, Altus, Oklahoma; Kenneth Allen Ketchersid, Bethany, Oklahoma; Emory Edmond Ketchersid, San Antonio, Texas; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one sister Grace Thompson, Bakersfield, California.
