Elmer "Pat" Morris, 51, passed away suddenly Saturday, November 11, 1995. Pat was born May 14, 1944 in Altus, Oklahoma, the son of Paul and Maxine )Pottorff) Morris. He was a life long resident of Jackson County. Pat had been an Independent Trucker in the Altus area since 1979, as well as raising cattle.
On May 23, 1978, Pat and Millie Martin were united in marriage at Altus, Oklahoma. Pat was a veteran, having served in the United States Army and was a member of the Headrick Masonic Lodge.
Pat was preceded in death by his father, Paul Morris on September 23, 1995.
He is survived by his wife Millie of Altus; four children and their spouses, Elmer Morris Jr. and his wife Christy of Wichita Falls, Texas; Pam and Billy Bean of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Gay and Brian Anderson of Arlington, Texas; and Scott White of Dallas Texas; his mother, Maxine Morris of Altus, Oklahoma; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Marvin Morris of Headrick, Oklahoma; and Garold and Mary Ann Morris of Big Lake, Arkansas; two sisters and a brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Ted Knox of Headrick and Reta and David Roden of Madison, Alabama; and seven grandchildren, Philip Anderson, Cory Anderson, Wesley Anderson, Dyan Anderson, Sonja Anderson, Mika Anderson and Luke Bean.
