Elmo Franklin Bailey was born July 23, 1913 at Altus, Oklahoma. He died October 26, 1991 at his home in Altus. He married Leta Nell Skinner April 17, 1938 at Vinson, Oklahoma. He worked for Civil Service for many years, then, was employed with Navajoe Uniform service until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Altus and was very active with Woodmen of the World.

Services are scheduled for 11 am Thursday October 31, 1991 at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Keith Wiginton officiating. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife Leta Nell Bailey of Altus, Oklahoma; children, Gaylon Holder of Altus, Oklahoma; James David Bailey of Altus, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Melinda Ford of Hobart, Oklahoma; one great granddaughter, Sara Jane Ford of Hobart, Oklahoma.

Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his mother and father; one brother John William Bailey.
