Obituary for Elva Loyle Kitterman
Elva Loyle "Kitty' Kitterman, 87, passed away Saturday, March 18, 1995, at Bethany Village Health Care Center. Kitty was born June 7, 1907 at Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Walter Caple and
Ava Ionia (Shouse) Snead.

On May 1, 1928, Kitty and Leonard Frances Kitterman were united in marriage at Bristow, Oklahoma. In the early 1950's they moved to Oklahoma City where Kitty remained until her death.
She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for over 40 years. Having started with the company as an operator, she served the company in any capacities including Supervisor and Investigator positions.
Kitty was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sapulpa and a long time member of the Telephones Pioneers. Kitty was a great seamstess and loved to sew for her daughter and granddaughters.
Mrs. Kitterman was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard; three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Alvin Chaney of Altus; one sister, Della Whelchel of Ada, Oklahoma; two grandsons and granddaughter-in-laws, Alan and Jill Chaney and nark and Catherine Chaney; and four great-grandchildren, Brian, Deborah, Rebekah and Heather Chaney.
