Obituary for Elvin J. D. Pearson
Mr. Elvin J. D. Pearson, age 77, of Altus, died Tuesday at the Gainesville Texas Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday morning at the Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend John Welch. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born October 7th, 1905 in Gainesville, Texas, he was married at Breckenridge, TX May 25, 1925 to the former Ruby Gober who survives of the home in Altus. He was a retired businessman, having moved to Altus from Farmington, NM, some seven years ago. He was a long time member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include: two sons, T. C. Pearson of Phoenix, AZ and Wayne Pearson of Tuscon, AZ; one brother, Mr. Truman Pearson of Breckenridge, TX; one sister, Mrs. Frances Crafton of Breckenridge; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. A local survivor includes a brother-in-law, the Rev. C.C. Gober of Altus and the pastor of the Duke United Methodist Church.
