Obituary for Erion Sonny Shirley
Erion " Sonny" Shirley, age 54, of Melissa, Texas passed away April 29, 1982, in Melissa, Texas.

Sonny was born September 10, 1927, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Mr. and Mrs. John Shirley. Sonny attended Humphrey Schools while living in Oklahoma. He had lived in Texas for the past 20 years. working for Chrysler Boat Company in Dallas, Texas. Sonny served during World War II.

Graveside services for Erion " Sonny" Shirley are scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 1982 at 4 pm in Altus Cemetery, officiated by Rev. T. O. Parson. Burial will be under the direction of Tims Funeral Home, Altus.

Sonny is survived by his step-father, Guy Tyra, Altus, two brothers, Billy Shirley, Arlington, Texas; Guy Tyra Jr., Ft. Worth, Texas, two daughters, Patricia Ann Herber, Altus, Sandra Kay Ward Springfield, Missouri; two grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his mother, December 2, 1981.
