Obituary for Ethel Leona Lovelady
Ethel Leona Lovelady, age 71, of 517 W. Walker, passed away at her home Monday afternoon. Graveside services have been set for Saturday, February 28, 1987 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altus City Cemetery officiated by The Reverend T.O. Parsons. Services are under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born November 12th, 1915 at Forest City, MO. She was the daughter of Roe Monroe and Stella Jane Rasnic. She married Lewis Henon Lovelady and he preceded her in death July 8, 1985.
Survivors include: seven sons, Larry Benson of Des Moines, Iowa, Lyle Meade of San Francisco, CA, Gerald Loyal Lovelady, William Lovelady, and Steven Lovelady, all of Topeka, KS and Frankie Lovelady; six daughters, Shirley Wahquahboshkuk, Carolyn Flores, Helen Runyon and Lola Scheidegger, all of Topeka, KS, Sylvia Pate of Altus and Wilma Lovelady; one brother, Howard Rasnic of Chicago, ILL; four sisters, Margie Lovelady of Oregon, Viola Lovelady of Pomona, CA, Tillie Conklin of Mound City, MO and Opal Rasnic of Forest City, MO; 34 grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
