Obituary for Eual Lester Templer
Eual Lester Templer, age 65, of Hurst, Texas, died Saturday in a Dallas, Texas, hospital.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday at Duke First Baptist Church. Burial will be at Rock Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Templer was born at Duke and graduated from high school there. He served eight years, including WWII, in the Navy as a signalman. He was awarded 12 major battle stars.
Templer attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 1952 with a degree in business.
For many years he was a computer analyst recorder for Western Geophysical and later was associated as a partner in Templer Realty until his retirement.
He was a member of Bethesda Community Church, Ft. Worth, Texas.
Survivors include: five brothers, Wood Templer of Duke, OK, Wayne Templer, of Mangum.
Ramond Templer of Silver City, NM, Marvin Templer of Eads, CO, Les Templer of Bedford, Texas; four sisters, Dorothy Chambers of Mangum, Mozell Wagers of Vista, CA, Madge Perryman of Mangum and Ann Hollingsworth of Altus, OK.
