Obituary for Eunice Austin
Eunice Austin , age 87, former resident of Altus died at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa on Friday.

Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 26th, 1904, at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Bob Feist. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

Eunice was born to Luther C. and Jodie T. Gilbreath on April 26th, 1904 in Auburn, Texas. She married Leet I. Austin in 1949 in Artesia, NM. They later built and ran The Fisharama at Lake Lugert in 1958 until around 1962. She was a cashier for J.C. Penny and C.R. Anthony's for many years in Frederick, OK. She attended the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: one sister, Ruth Martin and husband Wendell of Springtown, TX; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; step-son Billy Jack and Shiela Austin; step-daughter, Leatrice Cobb of Colorado Springs, CO; sister-in-law, Hazel Gilbreath of Muleshoe, Texas.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband.
