Obituary for Eunice Mildred Burnett
Eunice Mildred Burnett, age 92 former Eldorado resident passed away December 28, 1999 in Alexandria, Virginia. She was born January 20, 1907 to Richard Ivey Jackson and Mary Treaci Capers. Eunice lived in the Jackson County area for many years before moving to Wichita Falls, Texas be near her family. She had been living in Alexandria, Virginia to be near her son. Eunice was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Eldorado. On December 6, 1934 Eunice and William Otis Burnett were united in marriage at Quanah, Texas, he preceded her in death July , 5 1996.

She is survived by her son, Col. Donald Burnett and wife, Sandy of Woodbridge, Virginia; two sisters, Lois Spraddlin of Hollis, Oklahoma, Dorothy Jackson of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, Rhonda Gordon of Nashville, Tennessee, Doug Burnett of Ashburn, Virginia, Vicki Norman of Woodbridge, Virginia, Todd Burnett of Chicago, Illinois, Chuck McCarty of Round Rock , Texas five great-grandchildren and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Bobbie Gribble; one granddaughter, Dorothy Lynn Gribble; and one grandson, Dwight Burnett.

funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Monday, January 3, 2000 at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado, Oklahoma with Ken Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell=Tims Funeral Home.
