Eva Brinkman age 74 of Humphreys, Oklahoma passed away August 12, 1965 at Memorial Hospital in Altus. She was born July 21, 1891 in Bonham, Texas to Gen. and Helen (Brown) Helmsettles. She married Herman Brinkman in Altus in 1910. She had been a resident of Jackson County since 1889.
Funeral services are scheduled for August 14, 1965 at 10:00am, Baptist Church, Humphreys, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. Noel George and Rev. Orville Tigert. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery, Olustee, Oklahoma.
Eva Brinkman is survived by her husband Herman of the home; six daughters, Mrs. Roy Hall, Headrick, Oklahoma; Mrs. Harley Morris, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Naomi Choates, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Lewis Roberts, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. James Simmons, Dumas, Texas; Mrs. Lloyd Miller, Headrick, Oklahoma; one son Linel Brinkman, Headrick, Oklahoma; 17 grandchildre, nineteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, Charlie Helemstetter, Childress. Texas; Luther Helemstetter. Roswell, New Mexico; three sisters, Nannie Taylor, Arnsas Pass, Texas; Fannie Fuller, Roswell, New Mexico; Florence Chumbley, Roswell, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by one son Bud.
