Obituary for Eva Mae Russell
Eva Mae Russell was born February 8, 1920, at A.G. and Lela Obura (Hall) Truitt. She was born and raised in Jackson County and remained a resident in the Altus area her entire life. She and J.T. Russell were united in marriage December 12, 1939, in Altus, Oklahoma in the First Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a true friend to everyone who knew her. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. of Altus.

Mrs Russell is survived by her husband, J.T. Russell, of the home in Altus.; three children, Linda Williams, Buck Russell and his wife Joyce, Brenda Caudell and her husband Joe all of Altus; three sisters, Geneva Ploch and her husband Louis of San Antonio, Texas, Mildred Hamilton and her husband Chester of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Mary Penland of Texas. She is also survived by eitht grandchildren, roy W. Williams and his wife Jo Jo of Lee Summitt, Missouri, Stephanie Sales and her husband Frank of Columbus, Texas, Russell d. and his wife Jennifer Williams of Huntsville, Georgia, Jeanette D. Williams of Altus, and Misty Caudell also of Altus; three great-grandchildren, Talia and Briana Williams of Lee Summitt, Missouri and Caleb Nathaniel Sales of Columbus, Texas, and one great=grandchild expected soon to the parents of Russell and Jennifer Williams.

Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, four brothers and five sisters.
