Eva Moran age 80 of Lawton, Oklahoma died September 25, 1969 a Memorial Hospital in Lawton.
She was born November 12, 1888 in Alabama to C.C. Cheek. She married V. T. Cheek July 1905. Eva came to Altus in 1922 later moving to Lawton nineteen years ago. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Eva Moran are scheduled for Saturday, September 27 1969 at 2:00pm at Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. Floyd Griffin. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the directions of Tims Funeral Home.
Eva Moran is survived by her husband of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Lillie McDowell, Sayre, Oklahoma; Mrs, Cordia Muncy, Lawton, Oklahoma; one son Jessie Neal Moran, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Ola Mae Skaggs, Yucca Valley, California; Mrs. Edna Yandell, Bannings, California, Mrs. Addie Smith, Hot Springs, Arkansas; three brothers, Orville Cheek, Slayton, Texas; Willie Cheek, Tyler, Texas; Charley Cheek, Rockforth, Texas. She was preceded in death by four sons.
