Obituary for Flora Gertrude Adams
Mrs. Flora Gertrude Adams, age 82, former resident of Altus, died Tuesday, January 12th, 1982 at her home in Rapid City, SD where she had lived since moving from Altus some ten years ago.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Richard McIlnay. Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born March 18th, 1899 at Hillsboro, TX, she was married at Hollis in 1919 to the late Olen F. "Hap" Adams, who died in 1957. She was a member of the Methodist Church. The couple were formerly associated with the Adams-Jones Oldsmobile Agency in Altus.

Survivors include: one son, Edwin Adams of Tulsa, OK; one daughter, Joyce Yvonna Tennant of Rapid City, SD; four grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, who live out of state.

Memorials, if desired, should be directed toward the Heart Fund.
