Floy E. Briscoe died Wednesday at a Corpus Christi Hospital at the age of 92 years of age. Services are scheduled for Sunday at 2:00pm in the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Keith Wiginton. burial will be in the Hess Cemetery.

Mrs. Briscoe was born December 24, 1898 in Hess. She was the daughter of Sam Banks and Emma Hunter Banks. She married Ben Briscoe July 3, 1917. She was very active in the Hess Demonstration Club and he Hess First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Briscoe is survived by her children, Dale Briscoe of Altus, Oklahoma; Blake Briscoe of Sinton, Texas; brother Noel Banks of Chickasha, Oklahoma; sister Juanita Boies of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Briscoe was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Briscoe and son Denton Briscoe.
