Obituary for Francis Pride
Francis Mae Pride, age 95, of Altus passed away Thursday, December 30, 1999 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Francis was born July 18, 1904 in Hollis, Oklahoma to William Nathan Hunter and Stella Velma (Landrith) Pate. Francis has lived in Altus and Jackson county are for the past 27 years moving here from San Diego, California. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and two sisters, Jodie Payne and Lorene Pate both of Duke, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Maybelle Pate of Weatherford, Oklahoma; a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am Monday, January 3, 2000 at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Everett Smalts officiating. Interment will follow at the Rock Cemetery at Duke, Oklahoma under the direction of Lowell-Tims funeral Home.
