Obituary for Francisco Guerrero Roblez
Francisco G. "Frank" Roblez, 54, of Altus, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2008, at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton.
Frank was born May 5, 1954 in Georgetown, Texas, to Cosme and Esperanza (Guerrero) Roblez. His family moved to Altus in 1966 where Frank attended Altus Public Schools. He worked as a custodian at Sunset Elementary School in Altus from 1987 to 2003 where he was well loved by staff and students.
Frank enjoyed fishing, getting together with friends and family for cookouts and watching all sport events on TV, especially OU football.
His brother, Cosme Roblez, sister, Mary Perez and husband Seferino and his brother David Roblez and his wife Jo Anne, and many nieces and nephews survive Frank. HE is also survived by his precious dogs, which he considered his children, "Chance a Million" and "Emily Jones Johnson." Frank took good care of them and they took care of him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cosme and Esperanza Roblez, two sisters, Cookie Roblez and Catalina Roblez, one brother, Domingo Roblez and one niece, Diana Lee Spence.
Funeral Services for Francisco Roblez will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2008, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Ortega officiating. Interment will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
