Obituary for Frank Rogers
Frank Marcus Rogers, 87, long time resident of Altus, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Services have been scheduled for 2:00 pm, Friday, January 18, 2013 at Lowell-Tims Chapel. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Frank was born July 29, 1925. He proudly served his country during World War II. He was a fun loving, witty individual and was known for answering questions with questions. He was a hard working man and had held many jobs throughout his lifetime including farming and driving a taxi. Frank was a loving man and was well loved in return.
Frank and Mary Ellen Perry had three daughters who survive them, Rita Rogers, Teresa Rogers and Sharomon Rogers. Also surviving are one son, Mike Rogers , ten grandchildren and four great-grandchilden, as well as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Minnie Louise and Lita Mae.
