Obituary for Fred D. Guy
Fred D. Guy, age 59, was born February 27th, 1935, at Wellington, KS, the son of Virgil and Mildred (Bliss) Guy. Mr. Guy passed away Tuesday, July 5th, 1994 in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital, Altus, OK, after a lengthy illness.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 1994, in the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C.W. Parker officiating.
Fred was District Engineer for Arkla Gas for many years. He retired in 1993, with 34 years of service.
Graveside Services will be Friday, at 10:00 a.m., in the Buffalo Cemetery, Buffalo, Kansas. Fred was united in marriage to Anita Shockley on September 27, 1964, in Thayer, KS.
Survivors include: his wife, Anita Guy of the home; one son, Dean Guy and wife Elizabeth of Meeker, OK; two brothers, Robert Guy of Blackwell, OK and Ted Guy of Amarillo, TX; one grandson, Matthew Guy of Meeker, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
