Fred Lenear Walker age 75, of Altus, Oklahoma died April 22, 1969 at University Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born January 9, 1894 in Wise County, Texas to Jim and Florence (Allen) Walker. He married Lorena Frank March 7, 1915 in Decatur, Texas. He had been a resident of Southwest Oklahoma since 1919, a member of the Thomas Street Church of Christ, Odd Fellow and retired farmer.
Funeral services for Fred Lenear Walker are scheduled for April 24, 1969 at 2:00pm at the Thomas Street Church of Christ officiated by Rev. Williams and Perry Odell. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Fred Lenear Walker is survived by his wife, Lorena of the home, one son, Bill Walker; three grandchildren, two brothers, Jess Walker, Altus, Oklahoma; Struther Walker, Muleshoe, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Tom Clement, Amarillo, Texas.
