Obituary for Fred Robertson
Fred Robertson, age 75 of Elk City, passed away February 8, 2003. Services, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home in Altus, are set for 10:00 am Tuesday, February 9, 2003 at he Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery.
Fred was born to parents C.J. Robertson and Flocie Stockton Robertson on April 17, 1927 in Pittsburg County Oklahoma. He grew up in the Altus area, and in 1947 was united in marriage to Lela Ruthledge at Altus. They enjoyed amny years together and were both active and faithful members of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. In April of 1915 Lela preceded him in death. During the past few years Fred lived at Elk City.
Fred is survived by three children, Wayne Robertson and wife Sherry of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Susie Horton and husband Harry Horton of Altus, OK., Linda Whitehouse and husband Karman of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; three sisters, Goldie Bennett of Altus, Juanita Talbot of Grandbury Texas, Agnes Mason of Myrtle beach, South Carolina; six grandchildren; three great- grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela Mae; one son, Ronnie; parents, and brothers, Charles, Chester, Leonard, Foy and Tom.
