Gail Ann Moke, 61, resident of Hollis, Oklahoma passed away November 5, 2022, at Magnolia Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Altus, Oklahoma.
Gail was born March 31, 1961, in Pampa, Texas to Glenn and Estela (Seitz)Hodges. She was raised and educated in Mobetie, Texas. Following high school, she started studying to receive her LPN (licensed practical nurse). In 1987, while on a blind date she met Eddy Moke. Soon Gail moved to Hollis, Oklahoma and she started working at Colonial Manor II. On May 1, 1989, Gail and Eddy were united in marriage in Amarillo, Texas. Gail returned to college to further her education and received her registered nurse from Amarillo College. She worked for over fifteen years at Baptist Saint Anthony College. Gail also worked for several years for the Lions Eye Bank as an inoculation technician, during this time she traveled all over the state of Texas.
When not working Gail enjoyed being a ham radio operator (her call sign was Kd5ie), crocheting, taking care of her beloved pets, such horses, donkeys, cats, and dogs. The thing that gave Gail her greatest joy was helping others and being around her family.
She was very conscientious in serving her patients with dignity, respect and true compassion.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Estella (Seitz) Hodges, her sister, Glenda Dickey, nephews, Anthony Hodges, and Bruce Hodges.
Left to honor Gail’s memory are her loving husband Eddy Moke, brother, Eddie Hodges and wife Brenda; Nieces, Carry Teagarden and Heather Hodge, Holly Hodge, Nephews, Rusty Collison, Jeremy Collison and wife Jaime, sister – in -law, Rhonda Collison, her dog, Jenny, and her cat Fuzzy.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2022, at Harmon County Funeral Home, Hollis, Oklahoma interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis, Oklahoma.
