Obituary for Genovena F. Billarrial
Genovena F. Billarrial , age 83, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Friday, May 29th, 1998, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 1998 at the Samaria Pentecostal Church with Wilbur Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
Genovena was born January 3rd, 1915, in Johnson City, TX to Tom and Hazel (Salazar) Flores. On June 28, 1930, she and Alvino Billarrial were united in marriage at Marlow, OK. They moved from Plainview, TX to Altus in 1959. Mr. Billarrial preceded her in death March 11, 1988. Mrs. Billarreal was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal church.
Mrs. Billarreal is survived by eleven children, Teresa Gallardo, Francis Gamez, Victor Billarreal, Victoria Gonzalez and husband Leon, Alvin Billreal and wife Natalie, Juanita Costello, Alfredo Billarreal and Virginia Becerra all of Altus, Oklahoma and Joe Billarreal and wife Nora of Quanah, TX, Mike Billarreal of Floydada, TX and Rosie Dowding and husband David of Charlotte, MI. Also surviving are one brother, Tom Flores, Jr. of Plainview, TX; five sisters, Juanita Alaniz also of Plainview, TX, Sarah Flores of Amarillo, TX, Lucy Cortez of Dallas, TX and Rosa Oliva and Odelia Roblez, both of Porterville, CA; 49 grandchildren and 88 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvino Billarrial; her parents; four sisters; two brothers; two grandsons and one granddaughter.
