George Griffith Watson age 69 of Olustee, Oklahoma died February 14, 1965 at his home. He was born November 5, 1895 in Greenwood South Carolina to Artemus B. and Amelia (Boner) Watson. He had been a resident of Altus since 1951. He married Ruth Walcott June 8, 1926. George graduated from Columbia University School of Banking and associated with Garden City L.I. New York Bank & Trust/

Funeral services for George Griffith Watson are scheduled for 2:00pm February 16, 1965 at the Presbyterian Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. David walker & Rev. Jim Sanders. Burial will follow in the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

George Griffith Watson is survived by his wife, Ruth of the home; one sister Miss Daisy Watson, Beaufort, South Carolina.
