Obituary for George Henry Lampe
Mr. George Henry Lampe, age 80, of Duke, died Sunday morning at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 10:00 A.M. Thursday morning at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Everett Smalts. Burial will be in the Veterans Section of Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born September 1st, 1897 at St. Louis, Missouri, he had lived in California a number of years settling in Duke a number of years ago. He was married at Weatherford, Texas in 1962 to the former Myrtice Lankford who survives of the home in Duke. He was a Navy Veteran of World War I, active in the Altus Post of the DAV and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors, in addition to his wife include: three sons; five daughters; one sister; four step-sons; one step-daughter; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, all residing out of state.
