Obituary for George Loren Smith
Funeral services for Mr. George L. Smith, age 76, have been set for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at the Church of Christ in Eldorado. Floyd Robertson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith died Monday, June 2nd, in a Shawnee hospital following an extended illness. Born October 30th, 1892 in Eldorado, he had farmed in that area a number of years. He was married to the former Augusta Mae Freeman, who preceded him in death in 1956. For the last number of years he had lived in Oklahoma City and McAlister prior to moving to McLoud, OK. He was a member of the Newalla, OK Church of Christ.

Survivors include: one son, L. C. Smith of McLoud; two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Smart of McLoud and Mrs. Carrie Waelty of Mt. Ranch, CA; ten grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Nora Doughten of Eldorado.
