Obituary for George M. Combs
Mr. George M. Combs, age 70, of 409 N. Julian, died Sunday evening at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday morning at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Keith Wiginton. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born February 14th, 1910 in Eldorado, he was married at Olustee on October 25, 1932 to the former Audrey Carpenter who survives of the home. He had lived in Altus since 1955, was a general contractor, a member of the Woodmen of the World and an active member of the First Baptist Church.

Additional survivors include: one son, Bob Combs of Houston, TX; one daughter, Mrs. Janice Niznik of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Faye Thomas of Duke; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
