George Robert Bellenger died October 4, 1964 at Taylors' Rest Home. He was born June 8, 1878 in Meridian, Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. M.F. Bellenger. He had lived in the Altus area since 1899, his wife preceded him in death February 19, 1958.

Funeral services for Mr. Bellenger are scheduled for Monday, October 5, 1964 in the First Baptist Church with Rev, Gene Garrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Bellenger is survived by tow sons, Clarence Bellenger, Fort Worth, Texas; Herman Bellenger, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Spencer Hill, Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Bill Harrison, Altus, Oklahoma; three grandchildren.
