Georgia Marie Lovell Craig was born March 9, 1921 at Altus, Oklahoma. She died September 4, 1991 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. she married James Miller Craig May 26, 1944 at Corcicana, Texas. She was a life long resident of Altus. She had worked for the Caudill Grain Company and the Oklahoma Rehabilitation Office for many years. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She graduated from Altus High School in the class of 1939.

Services are scheduled for 11 am Saturday September 7, 1991 at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Rev. McClendon officiating. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mrs. Craig is survived by her husband James Miller Craig of Altus, Oklahoma; children, James Miller Craig Jr. and Irma of Chicago, Illinois; David George Craig of San Francisco, California; Sally Josey and Kenneth of Warren, Oklahoma; sister, Betty Lovell Burns of Hamilton, Ohio; three grandchildren, Joshua Craig, Kenny Josey, Jonathan Josey; one great-grandson Ryan Scott Josey.

Mrs. Craig was preceded in death by her mother and father; brother, David (Red) Lovell.
