Obituary for Gerald McGavran
Gerald McGavran, age 55, of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, June 25th, 2002 at Elkview General Hospital in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was born September 10th, 1946 in Stockton, California to William H. and Leah L. (Hartman) McGavran. He moved to Oklahoma in 1954. In 1999 he moved to Hobart, Oklahoma where he made his home. He had worked for Searchlight, Inc. in Hobart, Oklahoma as a laundry attendant for several years. He enjoyed eating out with his friends and listening to music and playing with his cat.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra McGavran of La Crosse, Kansas and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, June 28, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Altus City Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
