Obituary for Gilbert Ardel Lane
Gilbert Ardel Lane, age 92, of Altus, Oklahoma, was born June 14, 1904 in Custer County, Oklahoma, the son of Louis Ardel and Josie Elizabeth (Thrasher) Lane. He passed away Saturday, September 14, 1996, in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Lane will be cremated.

Survivors include: four nieces, Betty Joe Alcorn, Anna Dill, Sylvia Eichholz and Wanda Watson all of Altus, Oklahoma; one nephew, Delano Lane of Altus, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by: his wife and a son, Quin Lane.
