Obituary for Jerri Hill
Gladys “Jerri” Geraldine Hill, 80, resident of Mangum, Oklahoma, passed away on November 8, 2021, in Altus, Oklahoma. Jerri was born on September 9, 1941, in Mineral Wells, Texas to George Herbert Shepard, Sr. and Bertha Fay Gabriel. Jerri loved to help people, she worked as a caregiver for most of her life, with the most important job being, caring for her grandson Michael Bishop. She enjoyed cooking, going to garage sales, and painting.
Gladys is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, George Herbert Shepard, Jr.
Left to honor her memory are her sons, Howard Lee Hill, Jr., and Michael Wayne Hill; Daughters, Margaret Ann Smith, Sharon Elizabeth Baradell, and Christy Lynn Bishop; Brothers, David Bryant Shepard, Ralph Edward Shepard, and Richard Oma Shepard; Sister, Mary Fay Shepard; Grandchildren, Renee Smith, Rachel Smith and husband David, Rebecca Baradell-Butler, Alexander Grissom, Deneka Sawyer, Michael Bishop, and Christopher Bishop; Great Grandchildren, Dakota Smith, Zoe Smith, Chloe Smith, Serenity Smith, Juliana Brown, and Jessica Grayson; Great Great Grandchildren, Vanessa Smith and Ayslinn Smith; As well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Donations in Jerri’s honor may be made to DJK Enterprises for the care of Michael Bishop.
