Glenn Mansur
Glenn Mansur, 88, died Monday at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services are scheduled for Thursday at 2:00pm in the First United Methodist Church officiated by Don Johnson, Bob Feist. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
Mr. Mansur was born on January 21, 1902 to Richard and Caroline Mansur in Prague, Oklahoma. They moved to north of Headrick in 1914 and then to Altus. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club for 15 years, President of the Salvation Army Board. He had been a member of the First United Methodist Church for 29 years. Chairman of executive Board of the Church, President Excelsior S.S. Class and member of the Methodist Men.
Mr. Mansur is survived by his wife Dorothy Mansur, Altus, Oklahoma; children, Larry Mansur, Littletown, Colorado; four grandchildren, Deanna Mansur of Tuscon, Arizona, Bret Mansur of Aurora, Colorado, Bruce and Lisa Mansur of Wichita, Kansas; Darren and Alane Mansur of Aurora, Colorado; one great grandchild, Michael F. Mansur of Aurora, Colorado.
Mr. Mansur was preceded in death by his parents.
