H.D. McCombs age 63 of Blair, Oklahoma died August 9, 1966 in Drake, North Dakota due to a car accident. He was born February 8 1903 in Lubbock, Texas to Sam and Addie (Vaughn) McCombs. He married Esta Curry in 1924. He had been a resident of southwest Oklahoma since 1911. He was a farmer and cattleman.
Funeral services for H.D. McCombs are scheduled for August, 13, 1966 at 10:00am in the Church of Christ, Blair, Oklahoma, officiated by Claude Guild. Burial will follow in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

McCombs is survived by his wife, Esta, of the home in Blair, Oklahoma; mother Mrs. Sam McCombs, Warren, Oklahoma; four brothers, Sam McCombs, Blair, Oklahoma; Fred McCombs, Blair, Oklahoma; Glenn McCombs, Blair, Oklahoma; R.A. McCombs, California; four sisters, Mrs. Earl Biddy, Blair, Oklahoma; Mrs. J.W. McGuffin, West Covina, California; Mrs. Alido Taylor, Okemah, Oklahoma; Mrs. Brnice Hunter, Blair, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.
