Obituary for Halem Vinson McGuffin
Mr. Halem Vinson McGuffin, age 76, of Altus, OK, died on Tuesday, November 12th, 1968 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 14, 1968 at the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Gary Colley officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. McGuffin was married to the former Sybil Stovall January 7, 1920. He was a farmer and a trucker. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by: his wife of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Becky Nodrell and Mrs. Wayne White, both of Altus; five grandsons; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Malcolm McGuffin of Blair, OK and Clarence McGuffin of Mangum, OK; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Roberts of Altus and Mrs. Sally Haynes of Riverside, CA.
