Obituary for Hamlet "Ham" Canada
Hamlet "Ham" Canada age 63 passed away at Memorial Hospital February 24, 1965. He was born April 8, 1901 in Gossett, Texas to Doff Canada and Anna (Wells) Canada. He married Grace Perkle May 19, 1923. He had been a resident of Altus since 1905. Mr. Canada was in General Construction and had been Street Comm. in Altus for 23 years.

Funeral services for Hamlet "Ham" Canada are scheduled for February 26, 1965, 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Altus, Oklahoma officiated by Rev. Gene Garrison. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Canada is survived by his wife Grace of the home in Altus, Oklahoma; one son Rev. Roy Canada, Chillicothe, Texas; five grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Bert Phillips, Geary, Oklahoma; Mrs. A.E. Carter, Mayfield, Kentucky, Mrs. Bill Canada, Wichita, Kansas.
