Hayden Lee Shaw, age 8, of Blair, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday morning, November 17, 2011, at OU Children"s Hospital, in Oklahoma City, following a motor vehicle accident on November 10, 2011, near Blair, Oklahoma.
Hayden was born on August 4, 2003, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Lyle Shaw and Dusti (Collvins) Ellison. With his first home in Eldorado, the family soon moved to Blair where Hayden started to school. A second grader at Blair Elementary, Hayden loved going to church, hunting, fishing, baseball, football, frogs, snakes, turtles, eating candy, watching cartoons and being with his family and friends.
Survivors include his dad, Lyle Shaw of Blair; his mom Dusti Ellison and husband Josh of Blair; one brother, Garrett Shaw; two sisters, Kendalyn Shaw and Kyli Ellison; grandparents, Hootie and Fran Shaw of Blair, Joe and Lori Collvins of Eldorado, Steve and Bobbi Smith of Sawyer, Oklahoma and Chris and Delana Ellison of Altus; his great-grandmother, Loveta Holland of Cordell; a special aunt, Teta Osborne of Blair along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Hayden Lee Shaw will be at 10 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2011, at the Altus First Baptist Church with Pastor Shawn Laughlin and Pastor Mark Farr officiating. Interment will follow at Blair Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
The family will greet friends at Greer Funeral Home in Mangum on Sunday, November 20, 2011, from 3 until 4 p.m.
