Obituary for Helen Elizabeth Moon
Helen Moon, 88 of Mangum, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at her home June 18, 2022. Helen was born July 13, 1933, Near Whitesboro, Texas. She was one of nine children of Wylie “Fate” Bradford and Alta Mae Whitworth. She married Willie “Bill” Moon on December 3, 1955, at Granite, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and mother of three girls. Helen loved listening to Gospel music, cooking, she enjoyed going to the lake and spending time with family. She also kept several Knick Knacks. Her house was always spotless.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Bill; Daughter, Elizabeth Coffman; Her brothers and Sisters; Grandson, Billy Bernal; and Great Granddaughter, Alisha Ahhaitty.
Left to honor her memory are her daughters, Donna Bernal of Mangum, and Sheila Powers and husband John of Blanchard, Oklahoma; Granddaughters, Christin Campbell and husband Carey of Bethany, Oklahoma, Alice Benge and Husband Jonathon of Moore, Oklahoma; Great Grandson, John Hitt of Blanchard, Oklahoma; Great Granddaughters, Alicen and Elizabeth of Moore, Oklahoma; Great great granddaughter Mila Colby; A host of nieces, nephews and extended family members; Her best friend of 80 years, Patsy Casada of Long Beach, California; and Friends, Kevin Adams and wife Jennifer of Mangum, Oklahoma.
