Helen A Overton departed this life on July 29, 2010 in Oklahoma City OK. Helen was born October 28, 1917 to Fred and Ester Edna (Trench) Crowley in Mangum, Oklahoma. She was a dedicated Christian, a devoted wife and mother and was a helpmate to her husband in the farming and ranching industry until his death in 1990.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, W H (Bud) Overton; her father and mother Fred and Ester Crowley. She is survived by two daughters; Yvonna Wilkins and husband Lloyd of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Sandra Reynolds and husband Carl of Oklahoma City; four grandsons Mark Wilkins and wife LeeAnn of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Curtis Reynolds and wife Leslee of Moore, Oklahoma; Scott Wilkins and wife Liz of Katy, Texas; Keith Reynolds and wife Tommie of Moore, Oklahoma; and one foster grandson Jeff Witcher of Atlanta, Georgia; eleven great-grandchildren Caleb and Bethany Wilkins; Conner and Lauren Reynolds; Ryan, Morgan, Devon and Dalton Reynolds; Kaitlin, Gage and Garrett Witcher. She is also survived by one brother and one sister; Herman Crowley and wife Ruth of Oklahoma City; Melba Fox and husband Don of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services for Helen A. Overton will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the Vinson First Baptist Church with Rev. Harry Stallings officiating. Interment will follow at Cave Creek Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home of Mangum.
