Helena Hall Countryman, 69, of Gouverneur, New York died Tuesday at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness. Services will be pending with the Green Funral Home in Gouverneur, New York.
Mrs Countryman was born September 8, 1921 in New York. She was married to Paul Vaun Countryman on March 17, 1938 in Gouverneur, New York. She was a house wife most of her life and a member of the Catholic Church.
Mrs. Countryman is survived by her children, Lynda Bilby, Altus, Oklahoma; sallly Porter, Gouverneur, New York; Gary Countryman, Holman, WI.; Mike Countryman, Gouverneur, New York; brother, Landon Fuller, Gouverneur, New York; Clarence Fuller, Gouverneur, New York; sisters, Minnie Smith, Naples, Florida; Alice Desermeaux, Naples, Florida; Helen Hamilton, Potsdam, New York; seventeen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Countryman was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Countryman in 1984.
