Henry Edward Powers, 73, former resident of Duke, died at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oklahoma City Friday. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday at the Fairmount Cemetery in Hollis officiated by Sonny Tims. Arrangements are with Lowell-Tims funeral Home.

Mr Powers is survived by his nephews, George Dickerson of Altus, Oklahoma; Jimmy Powers of Pampa, Texas; nieces; Eva L. Hughes of Farmers branch, Texas; Ramona Tolle of Dallas, Texas; Karen Powers of Dallas, Texas; one, brother, Raymond Clarence Powers of Energy, Texas.

Mr. Powers was preceded in death by his mother and father, sister, Sally Mae Dickerson, brother, Gale Powers.
