Horace C. Norcross, 69, of Altus died Saturday at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services will be 10:00am Tuesday at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel, officiated by Jan Oden. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery, under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Norcross was born October 2, 1921 in Mountain Park, Oklahoma, the son of Amos and Ruth Norcross. He has lived in this area all of his life. He married Doris and Busgen September 28, 1944 in Riverside California. Horace graduated from Duke High School. He was a veteran of World War II. He served in the Army in the European Theatre of Operation.

Mr. Norcross is survived by his wife, Doris Norcross of the home; children, Michael Norcross, Lone Wolf, Oklahoma; Vicky Smith, Denver, Colorado; Johna Gilchrist, Waurika, Oklahoma; one brother, Joe Norcross, Springfield, Mo; five grandchildren.
