He was born August 27, 1896 in Marietta, Oklahoma to Thomas and Alice (Self) Marple. He moved to southwest Oklahoma in 1910. He married Gladys and she preceded him in death in 1933. Mr. Marple was a retired farmer.
Services for Houston Marvin Marple are scheduled for 2:00pm Monday July 14, 1969 in Tims Chapel officiated by Rev. Noel George. Burial will follow in the Headrick Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Houston Marvin Marple is survived by two sons Randy Marple, Altus, Oklahoma; J. C. Marple, Lawton, Oklahoma; one daughter Mrs. Pansy Ames, Teocoma, Washington; two brothers, Treavor Marple, Lawton, Oklahoma; Otto Marple, Lawton, Oklahoma; one sisterm Mrs, Bessie Patton, Lawton, Oklahoma.
