Hugo Evans Hugo W. Evans was born April 8, 912 in Gotebo, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Nice Jim and Leoma (Brazile) Evans. He died October 20, 2000 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. He married Monte Price on July 5, 1946 In Lawton, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army during World War II, where he served in Tunica, Sicily, Southern France, and Algeria-French Morocco. He was awarded the American Defense Ribbon, the EAME Service Ribbon and 4 Bronze Service Stars. He was Baptist and retired Civil Service Worker. Survivors include: Wife Monte Evans Altus, Oklahoma 1 Daughter Waynell and James Ludwig Tulsa, Oklahoma 2 Grandchildren Wayne Evans of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Julita Ludwig of Altus, Oklahoma 1 Sister Rose Zorger Lawton, Oklahoma 1 Brother Edmund Evans Security, Colorado Special friend Esther Chavez He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister Daisie Nell Schornick. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 24, 2000 at the Altus City Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating. Lowell Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
