Obituary for Ignasia Garcia
Ignasia Garcia Ignasia Garcia, of Olustee, passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2000 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Ignasia was born April 18, 1926, in Reynosa, Mexico. to Richardo and Patricia Trevino. She married Perfecto Cornado Garcia May 15, 1955, in Buckeye, Arizona. She moved from Friendship, Oklahoma to Olustee in 1960. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Ignasia was a member of the Prince of Pease Catholic Church in Altus. Ignasia is survived by four daughters, Ofelia Cordero of Lodi, California, Mary Lou Garcia of Dallas, Texas, Josephine Smith of Altus, Oklahoma and Lily Wolfe of Omaha, Nebraska; eight sons, Perfecto Garcia III of Altus, Richard Garcia, Randy Garcia, Rudy Garcia, all of Olustee, Ruben Garcia of Altus, Robert Garcia of San Antonio, Texas, Roy Garcia of Phoenix, Arizona, and Ray Garcia of Granite, Oklahoma; forty Grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, and twentyfour great-great-grandchildren.

Ignasia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Perfecto Garcia, II, one son, and one daughter. Funeral Services for Ignasia Garcia will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 11, 2000 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Altus with Reverend Joseph Jacobi officiating. A Rosary will be held 7:30 PM Thursday at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Olustee Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.
